Why We Built This Site
Alabama permits access to many public records, yet custody is the key issue in Jefferson County. The issuing court controls its case file and warrant action. The Sheriff's Court Services/Warrants Division handles service for many county warrants, but municipal clerks retain their cities' traffic, ordinance, misdemeanor, and failure-to-appear matters. The Birmingham and Bessemer state-court divisions also maintain separate files. Because Alabama has no public statewide warrant database, checking one office cannot prove that no warrant exists. We assemble verified official contacts, record-access routes, and court procedures so a reader can begin with the agency most likely to hold the record.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Alabama court, sheriff's office, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
